WINTER LECTURE SERIES
The Bangor Museum and History Center, with sponsors the Bangor Daily News and Bangor Public Library, kick off a monthly lecture series on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 beginning at 6pm at the Bangor Public Library. Held the second Tuesday of each month, topics will include tips on finding an historic property, a guide to inspections and permitting, advice on restoration and renovation processes and more.
Place:Bangor Public Library Admission: Free and open to the public.
January 13:
Earle G. Shettleworth, Jr., author and the director of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission will present an illustrated lecture on the development of Bangor’s domestic architecture from the late 18th century to World War I.
